FAMILY BACKGROUND:
A mother and her two children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son, are living in a homeless shelter in Morristown, close to the children's school and where she hopes to find work. The children lost their father three years ago, and life has been hard ever since. As devastating as that loss has been, she tries her hardest to give them everything she has. What she wants most for her children this holiday is a home, and she is working toward that goal right now. In the meantime, she is humbled and grateful for any help in giving them a great holiday despite circumstances that are far from ideal.
