Truck Unloaders
Meet the trucks and move supplies, inflatables and thousands of toys off the truck and into the building.
Every Child. Every Family. A Brighter Tomorrow.

Operation Holiday® Every Day Is Christmas® runs on people who show up with open hands. From the moment the first truck arrives until the last toy is in a child’s arms, our volunteers are the heartbeat of the event.
Volunteering with Operation Holiday® is a chance to give back, spread cheer and make holiday memories that last. You can sign up on your own, bring your family or send your whole team. Once you are on the registry, we reach out with the details and help you find the position and shift that fits you.
Volunteers are always treated like family.
Without you, there is no company and no event.
Supplies, inflatables and more than 6,000 toys arrive, and every box needs hands.
It takes a whole crew to pull off a day like this. Pick the roles that sound like you, or let us place you where we need you.
Before a single family walks in, the room has to exist. This is where it gets built.
Meet the trucks and move supplies, inflatables and thousands of toys off the truck and into the building.
Open boxes, check what came in, sort toys by age and stock the toy areas so nothing runs short.
Set up tables, banners, lights and inflatables, and turn an empty room into Christmas.
The first faces families see. Warm, patient and easy to find.
Greet every family at the registration table, check them in and point them to where they need to go.
Keep lines moving, guide families from station to station and make sure no one feels lost.
Welcome families in Spanish or another language you speak, and help everyone feel at home.
The part the children remember.
Help children meet Santa, keep the line happy and make every visit feel unhurried.
Run a craft, game or activity table and keep the little ones busy and smiling.
Help children and families receive their gifts and carry them out.
Everyone eats. Guests and volunteers alike.
Serve meals to families and volunteers and keep the food line running smoothly.
Keep drinks and snacks stocked and cold or hot for guests and for the team.
Check on volunteers during long shifts, make sure they eat, drink and rest, and send relief where it is needed.
Give the day its music and keep its memories.
Capture families, Santa, the children and the volunteers who make it happen.
Film the event, from the first truck to the last hug, so the story can be told again.
Keep the music merry and the room moving, and share announcements with the crowd.
The hardest work of the event and the work we need the most help with.
Clear trash, wipe tables, sweep floors and take down decorations when the day is done.
Break down the space, pack what is leaving and load it out.
Go where you are needed most. Run errands, fill gaps and lend a hand anywhere.
Every stage has a morning shift and an evening shift. Sign up for one, or stay for more.
Unload the trucks, open boxes and start building the space.
Finish the decorating, stock the toy areas and get every station ready for families.
Final touches, then welcome families, run the stations and hand out gifts.
Break down the space and clean it top to bottom. This is the hardest shift, and the one we need most.
Sign up once and your name goes on the Volunteer Registry. When it is time to gather the volunteer team, we contact everyone on the list with full details on how to take part.

Tell us how you would like to help, what you are good at, and whether you are coming with a school, an employer or a group. When volunteer spots open, we will email and text you.
Join the Volunteer RegistryJoining the registry does not sign you up for a shift. When an event nears, we send a link to choose where and when you would like to help.
