Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026. Families, sponsors and volunteers trust us with personal information. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run our programs. When you fill out a form on this website, we collect the answers you give: for example your name, contact details, address, household information, documents you upload (such as a photo ID), and your preferences. We also keep a record of the date and time you sent the form.
How we use it
We use your information to review applications, verify eligibility, match families with sponsors, organize volunteers and events, send you messages about your application or request, and keep our records accurate. We may contact you by email, phone or text about the program you joined.
How we protect families
Families are never named in public listings. Sponsors see a Family ID and a description, not a name, street address or contact details. Photo IDs, documents and signatures are kept in private folders that the public cannot open, and only the Operation Holiday® team can see them.
What we never do
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the people who need it to deliver your help or your gift (for example, a sponsor receives what is needed to shop for a family, without the family’s identity), or when the law requires it.
Payments
Donations are processed by secure payment services. Your card details go directly to that service; Operation Holiday® never sees or stores your full card number.
Cookies
This website uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering that you are logged in or where you are in a form. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove it when it is no longer needed for a program or our records. Write to the address below.
